You'll find the best alternative hits and all the local indie rock you love. We bring you songs you know and introduce you to the next big thing!

Each week, Jamie "Gunner" Smith brings you a marathon of local content on Steel City Music. As a tireless promoter of the Hamilton music scene and former tour manager for iconic local bands like Junkhouse and The Killjoys, Gunner deep-dives into the heart of the city's creativity. A proud graduate of the Mohawk College Radio Broadcasting program and former Program Director for INDI 101.5, Jamie was officially celebrated as the 2022 Arts Champion by the City of Hamilton for his outstanding dedication to platforming local artists. Tune in for cultural interviews, event listings, music, and conversation. Are you ready to rock Hamilton?!

Starting on Indi 101's sister station CFMU from 2007-2012, based out of CFRU Guelph since 2012 (and syndicated on various stations since 2014), Steel Town's own Gamma Krush provides a continuous 1 hour groove of underground, alternative and lo-fi hip hop.
